Would you like to work for a world leader in organised expedition climbing and trekking?

We are slowly but surely re-writing the rules on how big mountain trips are costed, and operated. In 2004 alone, we hosted over 200 climbers on expeditions around the globe. This season we were by far the busiest operator in Pakistan, with trips to Trango Towers, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum II, Spantik, Snow Lake, and K2 base-camp.

We are looking for highly experienced guides to join our team. You will need to bring with you an attitude and desire that will see you enthusiastically sharing your experience, wisdom, and skills, with aspirant climbers and trekkers wishing to enhance theirs.

You may also have experience in a particular area of the world, where you know you can circumvent the normal cost excess in ground based logistics, and assist in providing affordable ground services. We are looking to expand our network with similar minded companies and independent guides.

*All field positions require Wilderness First Aid experience, and significant previous exposure to management of organised groups in remote and high altitude locales.

Leaders in Training
FTA also offers assistant positions on climbing expeditions for aspirant guides at a low cost. Typically this allows the member to undertake a major program at a significantly reduced fee, while allowing full-time FTA staff to assess the aspirants suitability and capacity to work within the HA environment.

We offer discounts of up to 20% of the trip fee for medical staff seeking to join any expedition over 7000m.
